MEET THE PLANNER

 

Hi, I’m Kashia! I'm the face behind Q the Occasion Co. and the person making sure every detail comes together exactly as it should.

 

With nearly a decade of experience as a venue coordinator and wedding planner, I’ve had the opportunity to guide over 80 couples through their weddings from start to finish, along with planning thousands of events ranging from intimate showers to large-scale celebrations. 

 

What started as a career quickly turned into something more. I’ve always had a natural pull toward organizing, coordinating and bringing ideas to life, and over time that grew into a genuine passion for creating experiences that feel seamless, thoughtful and truly enjoyable for the people at the center of them.

MY APPROACH

 

I believe great events come down to two things: strong organization and intentional details.

​

Behind the scenes, I’m focused on timelines, logistics and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. But just as importantly, I care about how everything feels...from the flow of the day to the small touches your guests will remember.

My goal is simple: to make the planning process feel manageable and the final result feel effortless.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

 

I graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2017 with a degree in Recreation, Park & Tourism Management, focusing on Event Planning...so this has truly been my path from the start.

​

I’ve lived in Central Pennsylvania my entire life and still call it home today, where I live with my wife and our three dogs. When I’m not planning events, you can usually find me traveling, scuba diving or spending time with family.

​

Those experiences, especially travel, continue to inspire how I approach events: thoughtfully curated, well-paced and centered around creating meaningful moments.

After years of working behind the scenes, I created Q the Occasion Co. to offer something a little different...an approach that blends experience, organization, and a genuine love for what I do.
